(dp Weidner 2011)
A miniature sport of the exceptional rose ‘Pierrine’ with a color along the lines of ‘Chattooga’ but slightly darker. This fine rose was named after the finder’s wife as his way of saying “I love you” to her. It has all of the positive characteristics of ‘Pierrine’ and has the potential to become a superior exhibition rose as the color is striking, the petal count higher than from where it sported and the substance is noticeable which makes for an excellent exhibition rose. We believe that it will exhibit very well both for miniature Queen of show and in Challenge Classes as well. It tends to throw single blooms on long canes that look very nice on the dining room table but it will spray when not dis-budded. It recycles with the best of them and always seems to be in bloom. Disease resistance is very good which makes for a very good garden rose as well.
